HomeDose (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the HomeDose mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data. We are committed to protecting your privacy – especially because HomeDose provides AI-driven homeopathic guidance, which involves sensitive health information.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information You Provide

• Account Information – name, email address, password.
• Profile Information – age, gender, health goals, symptoms, and any homeopathic remedy preferences you voluntarily share.
• Payment Information – when you subscribe to Premium, payment details are processed by our secure third‑party payment processor (e.g., Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We do not store full credit card numbers.
• Support Communications – any information you provide when contacting us (email, chat logs, feedback).

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Usage Data – app opens, features used (habit tracking, reminders, analytics view), time spent, clicks, and navigation paths.
• Device Information – device model, OS version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information.
• Log Data – IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, timestamps.

1.3 Health & Sensitive Information (Homeopathic & Habit Data)

Because HomeDose is an AI-powered homeopath, we collect:

• Health symptoms you log (e.g., “headache”, “fatigue”, “anxiety”).
• Homeopathic remedy preferences, history of remedies tried, and outcomes.
• Habit data – habits you track, streaks, completion history, reminder settings.
• AI chat interactions – questions you ask our AI homeopath and the advice it generates.

1.4 Third-Party Sources

• If you sign in via Google/Apple, we receive your public profile info (name, email) as permitted by that provider.
• We may receive analytics data from Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar services.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Providing & personalizing the Service – generating AI homeopathic recommendations, sending daily reminders, showing habit streaks, and creating weekly progress reports.
• Improving AI accuracy – anonymized data helps train our homeopathic AI (without personally identifying you).
• Communication – sending service updates, billing confirmations, security alerts, and (with consent) marketing offers.
• Analytics & performance – understanding how you use the app to fix bugs, optimise features (e.g., heatmaps, visual reports).
• Security & fraud prevention – detecting unusual activity, enforcing terms of service.
• Legal compliance – responding to lawful requests or court orders.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data based on: consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, and legal obligation. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account or adjusting app permissions.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We never sell your personal or health data. We may share information only in these limited cases:

• Service Providers: Cloud hosting (AWS, Google Cloud), payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google), analytics (Firebase), AI infrastructure – all with data protection agreements.
• Business Transfers: If HomeDose is acquired, we will notify you before transfer.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect rights/safety.
• With your explicit consent.

5. Data Security

We implement TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES‑256 at rest, strict access controls, regular audits, and anonymization for AI training. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, data portability, opt-out of AI training (via Settings), and withdraw consent. For California residents (CCPA): we do not sell data; you can request deletion and disclosure. To exercise rights: privacy@homedose.com or use in-app “Delete My Data”. We respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary: account data until deletion; health & habit logs for streaks and reports (you may manually delete); backups de‑identified after 90 days; payment info kept for 7 years as required by law.

8. Children’s Privacy

HomeDose is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in certain regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. For users in the EEA, Switzerland, or UK, we ensure adequate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) when transferring data to third countries.

10. Account Deletion

You can delete your HomeDose account at any time: In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing support@homedose.com. Once deleted, all personal data, health logs, habits, and AI conversation history are permanently erased from active systems within 30 days. Backups destroyed within 90 days.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via a prominent notice in the app or by email. Continued use of HomeDose after changes means you accept the revised policy.
